Ming-Phos ligands, developed successfully by Professor Zhang Junliang'sresearch group, are the first example of Sadphos (short for SulfinamidePhosphine) ligands. They are designed based on the concepts of non-C₂ symmetry,the combination of rigidity and flexibility, and the integration of both hardand soft coordinating atoms such as O, S, N, and P. These ligands not onlyfeature rich and diverse structures, easy modification, but also facilitatelarge-scale preparation. Since their first report in 2014, they have foundextensive applications in over 10 types of asymmetric reactions catalyzed bymetals like gold, silver, copper, palladium, rhodium, and nickel, as well as innickel-catalyzed polymerization reactions, fully demonstrating their greatpotential in the fields of asymmetric catalysis and materials.
To support relevant research, a Ming-Phos ligand kit containing 10advantageous ligands is specially launched this time. These ligands have shownexcellent catalytic activity and selectivity in certain reactions.
